Aluminium Composite Panels

Aluminium Composite Panels consist of two thin sheets of aluminium continuously bonded to a polyethylene core. This polyethylene core of the aluminium composite panel is faced with two thin sheets of aluminium. The aluminium is bonded onto the core during the manufacturing process and it is virtually impossible to separate the layers of material once they have been bonded.

Known for their flexibility, durability and versatility, aluminium composite panels are completely customizable. Aluminium Composite Panels are available in a range of finishes. These finishes are applied to the external aluminium faces during the manufacturing process. As these finishes are done during the manufacturing process a consistent, smooth finish is achieved across the entire surface area.

Their strength-to-weight ratio, clean lines and extreme flatness have made the material a preferred choice in metal panels for commercial construction. For new construction, no other material offers a more creative allowance while maintaining such a clean and modern look. In retrofit applications it can, in most cases, be installed directly over the old exterior without the need to remove the existing facade.

Aluminium Composite Panels are efficient, long-lasting and quick to install and with Select Roofing’s licensing and Factory Mutual agreements with Alucobond we are able to advise on and install their range of products for our customers as well as being among the very few contractors in Ireland and the UK capable of interfacing Alucobond with standing seam systems like Kalzip.
